About ME
I'm Oswaldo Colon, a Front-End Developer and Graphic Designer based in Leeds, UK. I've transitioned into software engineering with a rich background in design and leadership. My journey through Northcoders has equipped me with essential technical skills, and I'm excited to bring a blend of creativity and managerial prowess to my new role in front-end development.
I am proficient in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and have experience with React.JS, Node.JS, Express.JS, and PostgreSQL. My expertise in Adobe Suite tools, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, complements my front-end development skills.
Having worked as a Regional Chef Manager, I honed strategic leadership skills and resource optimization, which are transferable to project management in the tech sector. My past role as a Graphic Designer at Traffic Graphic co. has given me a foundational understanding of user-centric design principles, beneficial for web development.
